BİLGİ Entrepreneurship Field of Excellence has the mission of generating and sharing knowledge on entrepreneurship, a field of study encompassing diverse disciplines, and generating social benefits that support economic growth, innovation, and increased prosperity by generating outputs focused on the transfer of experience. This interdisciplinary research area primarily aims to bring together knowledge, experience, and production from the fields of Business, Engineering, and Communication, and to create new outcomes.
The Entrepreneurship Field of Excellence aims to foster entrepreneurial intentions among individuals—particularly our students and academic staff—while contributing to the development and dissemination of an entrepreneurial mindset throughout the country. By offering inspiring experiences and cultivating an environment that supports entrepreneurship-focused knowledge production and sharing, we seek to unlock individuals’ talents, creativity, and leadership potential.
This Field of Excellence will carry out activities that provide guidance across all stages of the entrepreneurial journey—from idea generation to company formation, and from innovation implementation to international scaling and investment readiness. A diverse range of programs, events, and collaborative initiatives will be offered to support these goals.
Serving as a shared platform for the collective work of different faculties and administrative units at our university, this Field of Excellence aims to strengthen the regional entrepreneurship ecosystem by making tangible contributions to our students, partners, and the broader business community.
